About This Blog

This blog is meant to chronicle a firsthand look at Haiti’s reconstruction and development following the devastating January 2010 earthquake.  Rather than focus on external efforts to contribute to Haiti’s development (such as book drives and fundraisers originating overseas), the blog will provide a firsthand perspective of what people, both Haitian and international, are already doing on the ground to forge a new Haiti.
